How to find us
Arriving by train
- Munich – Rosenheim – Salzburg: All connections run via the main railway station Freilassing. After Freilassing, Laufen is the first stop in the direction of Mühldorf. If you are travelling by EuroCity or Railjet, you will usually have to change trains at Salzburg main station.
- Munich – Mühldorf – Freilassing: Coming from Munich, take the train from Mühldorf to Freilassing; the penultimate stop is Laufen.
- Salzburg main station: The local train runs approximately every 30 minutes from Salzburg main station to Oberndorf, near Salzburg, Austria. From the Oberndorf/Laufen stop, it is a 15 minute (1 kilometre) walk to us.
Arriving by car
- A8 and B20: Laufen can be reached via the A8 motorway from Munich to Salzburg. Take exit 115 "Bad Reichenhall" and then follow the main road B20 to Passau. You will be in Laufen in 20 minutes.
- B20: The other alternative is the B20 from Passau – Burghausen – Freilassing. This brings you directly to Laufen.
Arriving by air
- Salzburg airport (SZG): Salzburg airport is only 20 kilometres from Laufen. Take the bus to Salzburg main station and then use the local railway connection to Oberndorf/Laufen.

- Free outdoor parking and underground parking (exclusively for hotel guests) is available during your stay.

- Compulsory toll sticker in Austria. Please note that toll stickers are compulsory in Austria. This is mandatory on every motorway.
